Youth across Ontario use their voice

In November 2011, youth in the care of the Children's Aid Societies across Ontario, came together to use their voice at a Youth Hearing at Queen's Park.

The youth have been heard and after 1 year of hard work and dedication, the government of Ontario have announced the implementation of new resources and supports. Youth in or leaving care of the Society, will have access to a range of new supports such as: increase in the minimum monthly financial support to youth aged 18-21, providing monthly funds to youth aged 21 to 25 enrolled in postsecondary education, enhancing foster parent training for better support and many other benefits.
