The Ottawa CAS has joined with Youth In Care Canada to facilitate a workshop for youth in care to create personal postcards expressing themselves and their feelings around being a youth in care. This project is meant to show youth that there is a shared culture amongst youth in care, not only locally, but worldwide. They share common experiences and feelings around being a youth in the child welfare system and together they can unite to create awareness on the issues they face.
