Headstart Nursery Program

The Headstart Nursery Program is primarily funded by the City of Ottawa. The program is designed for children ages 18 months - 4 years who are clients of The CASO and focuses on the social, emotional, and cognitive skills required to integrate the child into the regular school system. This program is offered to both Anglophone and Francophone children.

We aim to help children become curious, confident, competent, and read to learn once they enter into the school system. To achieve this, our trained staff and volunteers prepare activities in pre-math, pre-reading, science, and physical development.
